As we wrap up another year, I wanted to take a moment to reflect, say thank you, and share a bit of what this season looks like for us.

A look back at the year

2025 was a strong year. Despite a market that demanded patience and discipline, we successfully closed many loans across different scenarios, helping our clients move forward with confidence.

Earlier this year, we saw rates start around 7%, and as the first semester progressed, they moved into the 5.5% to 6.5% range. That window created great opportunities for borrowers who were prepared and ready to move decisively.

As we entered the second semester, the market adjusted once again. As we close out the year, we’re now seeing rates settle closer to 6.5% to 7.5%.

Based on current market conditions, we expect this range to remain relatively stable through the first semester of 2026, similar to what we experienced in the first half of 2025.

Gratitude

None of this happens without trust. To our borrowers, referral partners, and everyone who worked alongside us this year, thank you. We don’t take lightly the responsibility of being part of your financing decisions.

A little holiday tradition

Beyond numbers and rates, this season is also about slowing down and being present.

In our family, Christmas means prime rib, a table full of sides, lots of conversation, and taking our time. We always sit down to dinner first, and only after that do we gather to open gifts together. It’s simple, intentional, and something we look forward to every year.
